I'm terribly sorry to hear about Gary's passing. When I moved to LA in 1989 he offered me a job as a color separator at Arion, his fine-art limited-edition silkscreen business. It was my first job as an artist and I distinctly remember him giving me a bit of advice at the time: Learn the computer kid, that's where the real money is. I have so many fond memories of the time we spent together, his kindness and wonderful sense of humor. (Gary was the only person I ever met who could take a short nap at a red light!) Sincere condolences to all of his friends and family.

Sorry for your loss as well Brian. My dad was a true artist to the end. That is a fact!😋
Sorry for your loss, Lisa. I lost my dad in 2014, and it's been the hardest thing I've ever experienced… Your dad was such fun to be around. A larger-than-life personality. I love seeing the more recent photos where he grew his hair out. A true artist to the end!
Ps. You’re right about the red light naps. That’s hilarious!
Thank you so much Brian for the kind words and great photos. My dad was very fond of you as well. I hope all is well with you! Lisa
